The 2024 World Tennis League (WTL) is shaping up to be one of the most exciting events of the year, bringing together a dazzling array of tennis superstars for its third season. The Teams
This year, four elite teams will compete in the round-robin format, where every match will impact the standings, with the top two advancing to the final on December 22. The teams include:
- Eagles: Iga Świątek (World No. 1), Barbora Krejčíková (World No. 10), Hubert Hurkacz (World No. 8), and Casper Ruud (World No. 9)
- Hawks: Aryna Sabalenka (World No. 2), Mirra Andreeva (World No. 22), Taylor Fritz (World No. 7), and Sumit Nagal (World No. 83)
- Falcons: Elena Rybakina (World No. 4), Caroline Garcia (World No. 36), Daniil Medvedev (World No. 5), and Andrey Rublev (World No. 6)
- Kites: Jasmine Paolini (World No. 5), Paula Badosa (World No. 19), Stefanos Tsitsipas (World No. 12), and Nick Kyrgios
The tournament kicks off with the Falcons facing the Hawks, followed by the Eagles battling the Kites. Each match will be crucial, and if a match reaches the fourth set with a trailing team victory, an Overtime phase will kick in, potentially leading to a thrilling Super Shootout if scores are tied.

The 2024 WTL brings an exciting mix of debutants and returning champions. Wimbledon 2024 champion Barbora Krejčíková and 2024 Women’s Doubles Paris Gold Medalist Jasmine Paolini are making their WTL debuts. These new faces are joining a roster of tennis heavyweights, including:
