n a powerful display of cricketing dominance, Fireox Unit Cricket Club stormed to victory in the Qatar Cricket Association (QCA) T10 Ramadan Cup 2025, defeating Al Asnad by nine wickets in a thrilling final played at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium.
Chasing a competitive target of 124 runs, Fireox Unit CC made it look effortless, reaching the goal in just 7.3 overs. The chase was ignited by a blistering performance from Faisal Khan, who smashed 60 runs off 21 balls, peppering the stadium with seven sixes and three fours. His aggressive knock dismantled Al Asnad’s bowling attack and set the pace for a commanding win.
Khan was well-supported by Saqlain Arshad, who remained unbeaten on 36 off 17 balls, and Abdul Manan, who added an explosive 28 not out from just eight deliveries. The trio’s performance sealed the deal for Fireox with minimal resistance.
Earlier in the match, Al Asnad posted 123 for 4 in their 10 overs. Despite losing opener Rafaqat Ullah for a duck, a strong middle-order partnership between Umer Ahmad (47 off 16 balls) and Shafaullah Khan (35 not out from 23 balls) helped set a respectable total. Asif Ali also contributed 26 valuable runs.
The post-match awards ceremony recognized outstanding individual performances throughout the tournament. Fireox’s Faisal Khan was deservedly named both Player of the Final and Player of the Tournament, while Sadiq Khan, also from Fireox, took home the Best Bowler award. Daniel Archer of Hilti CC was honored as the Best All-rounder of the tournament.
