The third Bahrain International Virtual Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Sports is scheduled for April 24, 2025. Organized by the General Sports Authority (GSA) in collaboration with His Highness Shaikh Nasser Center for Research and Development in Artificial Intelligence, the event will also involve the “I Am Talented” program. The conference will feature prominent international speakers from leading universities and sports institutions across Spain, Italy, Belgium, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and the United States1.
Dr. Jassim Haji, Chairman of the Conference Organizing Committee, highlighted the pivotal role of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa in supporting AI integration into sports since the inaugural conference in 2021. This initiative, the first of its kind in the Middle East, has provided athletes with a roadmap to adopt cutting-edge technologies in sports1.
The conference aims to explore innovative AI solutions for enhancing athlete performance, talent development, coaching strategies, administrative efficiency, and fan engagement in sports1.
