Manama, Apr. 18 (BNA): The Ministry of Interior cricket team has claimed first place in the Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Cricket League, achieving a major sporting milestone that underscores their commitment to excellence.
Brigadier Khalid Abdulaziz Al Khayat, President of the Public Security Sports Association, extended congratulations to General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, applauding his unwavering support of the association. He emphasized how this support has played a crucial role in improving the team’s performance and readiness through structured training plans, specialised qualification programmes, and dedicated preparatory camps.
Brigadier Al Khayat also acknowledged the contribution of Major General Tariq Al Hassan, Chief of Public Security, commending his continued efforts to promote sports activities and oversee both local and international participations. These initiatives have greatly enhanced the teams’ accomplishments across multiple championships.
