Emerging Tennis Star Saida Ismail Aims to Raise the UAE Flag High on the Global Stage
Saida Ismail, a rising tennis talent renowned for her exceptional technical and mental strength, has openly expressed her goal to represent UAE tennis at the highest international level.
Nasser Al Marzooqi, Secretary-General of the UAE Tennis Federation, has given strong backing to the 14-year-old athlete, describing her as an exceptional young talent with a promising future. He commended her for winning numerous local and international titles, and highlighted her role in supporting the Federation’s ongoing efforts to develop the next generation of tennis stars.
Saida has shared her ambition to compete in elite events such as the Dubai Duty Free Championships, Mubadala World Tennis Championship, and the Al Habtoor Tennis Challenge.
Her goal is to deliver strong performances that will enable her to proudly raise the UAE flag on global platforms. Saida is also eager to take part in international youth tournaments hosted annually by the UAE Tennis Federation in collaboration with the International Tennis Federation, held across venues in Dubai and Fujairah, which attract top junior players from around the world.
Displaying a strong mix of technical prowess and mental toughness, Saida reiterated her dream to serve as a proud ambassador for UAE tennis. She spoke of her future aspirations to continue achieving success and adding to her growing trophy collection, while bringing more accolades to the nation.
She expressed sincere gratitude to the UAE Tennis Federation for its continued support, which she says plays a huge role in helping her improve and strive for more victories on the court.
Saida also highlighted her recent accomplishments within her age category, including championship wins in multiple countries. Some of her most notable results include:
- First place at the European Tennis Championship in Switzerland
- Champion of the Banja Luka tournament in Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Tournament wins in Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, and Qatar
She has also claimed second and third place finishes in several other international competitions.
