Pre-Match Analysis

As the teams prepare to take the field, both sides are looking to assert their dominance early on. Al Qabila FC come in with high energy and a tactical plan centered on quick transitions, while PE Sports are expected to marshal their defense and launch counterattacks. Key players to watch tonight include Pappe Cisse and Dimitri Volarevic after both scored Hattricks. Stay tuned as we cover updates

First Half gets underway:

    • Al Qabila showing dominance in the midfield and pressing hard, PE Sports showing discipline and a high resilience, marking closely to prevent a barrage of attacks.

    • We’ve seen flashes of brilliance from Pappis Cisse, however PE Sports are proving difficult to break down.

  • Goal:  Number 14, Frederick Craig (22 min) From the corner, a fantastic ball delivered and directed with a glanced header in the bottom right corner from Craig
    • Energy restored and the game resumes with added confidence from the Al Qabila team.
    • Alot of action down the wings seems to be the key for both teams as a more balanced possession seems to take hold.
  • Yellow Card: Charlie Owens ( Al Qabila)
  • Chance: Fantastic through ball puts Cisse on a 1-1 with the goalkeeper, slotted home through the legs, only to be called offside.
    • A neutral battle ground in the midfield takes place with both teams looking for through balls and passes over the top.

    • Frustration seems to build as Al Qabila seek

Half Time Update

2nd Half begins

    • Steve Taylor, seems to have switched tactics and has deployed an instruction to play a faster ball and higher press.
  • Goal: Number 32, Genaro Gabriel Alcaraz (54 min)! Secures the second goal for Al Qabila FC as its scrambled over the line with a poke.

    • Divine Edem on- Juma Jamal off
    • Roland Kumi on- Dimitrije Volarevic off

  • Goal: Number 90- Boniek Henrique (64 min) Powerhouse header to the top right corner from a corner!
    • Al Qabila really started to dominate now, fresh legs on the field really has made a big difference and the pace on the wings explodes into action.
    • PE Sports are struggling to contain this barrage of through balls and decisive passing!

  • Goal: Number 90 -Boniek Henrique (68 min) Fantastic counter attach that splits the defense, Boniek from 5 Yards with a composed finish!
    • As Al Qabila tactics take force, the landscape of the game and possession is completely one sided, the quality of play is excellent.
  • Goal: Number 18 – Pappis Cisse (75 min) He finally gets his goal! Stunning through ball and Cisse rounds the keeper to go 5-0
    • Tired legs set in and the pace slows, at 5-0 the game is secured and some frustrated faces begin to show on the PE Sports team.
    • The level is just miles apart and long balls begin to be hurled up by PE Sports in the hope of any goal to redeem spirits.
  • Goal: Jonathan Tshipangila (89 min) Substitute gets a goal from outside the box – phenomenal and bizarre goal leaves Rajai Tarek frustrated. The clean sheet streak has gone and Al Qabila know they should not have conceded.
    • Steven Taylor shouting words of encouragement now to continue the charge and control the ball
  • Incident: Major collision from the PE Sports Goal Keeper- Player unconscious!
  • Goal: Number 77 – Divine Edem (90+2 min)

A somber end to the game after such a dominant display, a player is down unconscious after the collision and medical services are assisting. The whole mood of the game has shifted, concern, togetherness and disregard for the result sets in.

Medical assistance takes away the injured PE Sports player and the remaining game continues for a short while until the whistle blows.

A reluctant, and mild ambient celebration from the players of Al Qaliba who take one major leap forward to promotion glory!
