ABU DHABI, 27th May 2025 — The First Instance Body (FIB), functioning under the UAE Pro League’s Club Licensing System, has granted AFC Licences for the 2025–2026 cycle to 14 football companies. This follows a thorough evaluation of submitted licensing files and the confirmation of compliance with all mandatory criteria.
The announcement was made following the FIB’s regular meeting, held on Tuesday, 20 May.
The clubs that successfully obtained AFC Licences are:

- Al Wahda Football Company
- Al Ain Football Company
- Ajman Football Company
- Al Nasr Football Company
- Kalba Football Company
- Al Wasl Football Company
- Sharjah Football Company
- Baniyas Football Company
- Khorfakkan Football Company
- Al Jazira Football Company
- Al Bataeh Football Company
- Dibba Al Hisn Football Company
- Al Orooba Football Company
The FIB acts as an autonomous and independent decision-making body, separate from any sports entities within the country. This structure is designed to ensure transparency and uphold strong governance in the licensing process.
