Bahrain’s Bodybuilders Head to UAE for 2025 IFBB Asian Championships
Bahrain’s national bodybuilding team has officially departed for the United Arab Emirates to participate in the 2025 IFBB Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships.
The major regional event, sanctioned by the International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation (IFBB), is scheduled to kick off tomorrow and will continue until Tuesday, drawing participation from 23 Asian countries. The Bahrain delegation is being led by Hamad Al Muhazaa, Vice-President of the Bahrain Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (BBFF).
Representing the kingdom are four elite athletes: Mohammed Bukhalaf, Khaled Al Saeedi, Abdulla Al Mansoor, and Sayed Hadi Hashem. This championship marks the first international outing for Bahrain’s national team in the current season.
BBFF President Sami Al Haddad met the national athletes before their departure, offering encouragement and urging them to deliver powerful performances in honour of the kingdom. The athletes responded with assurance that they are prepared to give their all on the international stage and elevate the Bahrain flag.
The official registration and weigh-ins are scheduled to be conducted today, with the championship competitions getting underway tomorrow.
