Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Grappling World Tour Concludes with Emirati Dominance
The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Grappling World Tour wrapped up at the Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City, gathering hundreds of elite athletes from over 50 countries. Organized by the Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Pro (AJP) Federation, the event showcased the finest in grappling and ground fighting, with intense competition across all divisions.
UAE athletes delivered a standout performance, clinching the top spot in the team standings with 31,000 points. Brazil secured second place with 30,600 points, while Russia finished third with 19,000 points. This outcome underscores the remarkable progress and rising international status of Emirati grapplers.
Khaled Al Shehhi emerged as a central figure, capturing the gold medal in the professional division after a series of decisive matches. His physical prowess, technical skill, and tactical intelligence were evident throughout the tournament. The AJP General Manager, Tareq Al Bahri, was present during the finals to award the champions.

In the heavyweight division, Pouya Rahmani claimed the gold medal following a string of impressive performances through the elimination and final rounds.
