From Morning to Midnight: Fitness, Fun in AC at Al Ain Summer Festival
11 Sports, Expert Training Support UAE’s Year of Community Goals
Al Ain – The much-anticipated second edition of Al Ain Summer Sports (AASS) has officially opened its doors at the ADNEC Centre Al Ain, offering a dynamic and climate-controlled environment for residents and visitors to enjoy a wide range of sports and wellness activities.
Running until August 18, the event was inaugurated by Arif Al Awani, Secretary General of Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and Humaid Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group. Organised in partnership between the ADNEC Group and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, AASS stands as a key initiative aligning with the UAE’s Year of Community, aiming to promote healthy living, social engagement, and physical activity in a safe, inclusive space.
Spread over 6,500 square metres, the indoor venue is equipped with 15 state-of-the-art courts and fitness zones, featuring 11 sports disciplines, including football, basketball, padel, badminton, tennis, and action cricket, among others. Open daily from 6 am to 1 am, the space allows attendees of all ages to stay active regardless of the soaring summer temperatures outside.
To enhance the experience, AASS also offers community-focused competitions, team tournaments, and specialised training programmes led by expert coaches, contributing to skill development and team spirit among participants.
With its commitment to both recreation and wellbeing, the Al Ain Summer Sports initiative is quickly positioning itself as a premier summer destination, not only for fitness enthusiasts but also for families and community members seeking fun and interactive activities under one roof.
