Sixth Round of the Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship Thrills Fujairah
The sixth round of the Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship (GI) continued at the Zayed Sports Complex in Fujairah on 13th September 2025, drawing strong crowds and delivering intense competitions in the under-14 and under-16 divisions.
The competitions were graced by the presence of Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, son of the Crown Prince of Fujairah, who attended the matches and witnessed the high level of performance on display.
Matches throughout the day showcased excellent technical skills, as participants strove to score significant points for their respective teams. By the end of the event, it was Baniyas Jiu-Jitsu Club that topped the rankings, with Sharjah self-defence sports club taking second place and Al Ain Jiu-Jitsu Club securing third.
The sixth round exemplifies the strong momentum the championship enjoys, drawing more than 1,600 male and female athletes from clubs and academies across the country. This impressive turnout is a clear indicator of the prestigious status the championship has achieved and highlights its ability to cement its place as one of the largest and most important tournaments on the local sporting scene.
