Jake Franklin Clinches Victory in 2025 FIM MiniGP Qatar Round 4
Jake Franklin clinched a commanding victory in Race 2 of the 2025 FIM MiniGP Qatar Round 4 held at the Lusail Circuit. The thrilling race featured strong participation from a field of prominent competitors, including several graduates of the Qatar Motorsports Academy.
The championship’s fourth round, which was organized by the Lusail Circuit Club, delivered intense competition as riders battled it out on the track. Academy officials were visibly engaged throughout the weekend, emphasizing the importance of self-confidence and responsibility in nurturing young racing talent.
Franklin, displaying exceptional form, clocked the fastest lap of the race with a time of 1:02.378, and completed the 15-lap event in just 15 minutes 48.039 seconds.
Mohammed Al Mutawa secured the second place, finishing 9.654 seconds behind Franklin. Anas Boukabache followed closely to round out the podium in third place, marking a successful outing for the rising racers.
The results reflect the growing competitiveness of the MiniGP series in the region and highlight the progress of racers graduating from regional development programs.
