Under the landmark agreement, the SACF has officially licensed the DP World ILT20 as a recognized Twenty20 league for both men and women, paving the way for ILT20 matches to be staged in Saudi Arabia and creating structured development pathways for aspiring Saudi cricketers. The collaboration will bring the league closer to its Saudi counterparts by working in conjunction with the SACF’s commercial arm, the Cricket Investment Company. Notably, as part of this initiative, each franchise participating in the ILT20 Season 4 Player Auction—to be held on October 1—will be required to include at least one Saudi player in its squad.
