Kuwait Handball Federation Secures Major Sponsors In a significant step that underscores the Kuwait Handball Federation’s commitment to enhancing the sport locally, the federation has officially announced its major sponsors for the season. The announcement took place during a packed press conference at the Marina Hotel, drawing attention from both media and sports enthusiasts alike. The list of corporate backers includes notable names such as Bin Alameed, Spark, Jazeera Airways, Coffee Boutique, and the Sports Medicine Center (SESC). The partnership aligns under the theme “Partners in Success”, signaling a collaborative approach that goes beyond financial contributions. The sponsorship package is set to offer critical medical consultations, physical development guidance, and nutritional support, aiming to elevate handball standards across all levels in Kuwait. Secretary-General Qaid Al-Adwani stated:“This sponsorship is a strategic alliance aimed at boosting handball development and engaging youth participation.” He emphasized the importance of comprehensive support—covering medical, physical, and nutritional aspects—for the national team, local clubs, and youth categories. National team captain Abdullah Al-Khamees commended the event’s vibrant atmosphere. He said:”The large turnout at the conference reflects strong public interest in Kuwaiti handball.” He encouraged fans to back their teams by attending matches and supporting athletes throughout the league and national team competitions. Al-Khamees also expressed his gratitude to players for their dedication and thanked the federation for facilitating optimal preparation. Adding to the financial scope of the deal, Dr. Mohsen Dashti, CEO of Business Partner Marketing, elaborated:“The contracts exceed KD 130,000, directly benefiting teams from youth squads up to the senior men’s national team.” The sponsorship is expected to have a tangible impact not only on performance but also on the professionalization of handball in Kuwait, providing athletes with world-class support services and exposure. In parallel developments, handball action continues with the sixth round of the Premier Handball League, where Kuwait Club is set to face Al-Arabi in an eagerly awaited showdown today.
