Abu Dhabi has been announced as the host city for the 2025 Egyptian Super Cup for Champion Clubs, a prestigious football tournament organised by the UAE Pro League in collaboration with the UAE and Egyptian Football Associations, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, and Sports United.
Taking place from November 6 to 9, 2025, the competition will feature four of Egypt’s top clubs: Al Ahly, Zamalek, Pyramids, and Ceramica Cleopatra. This exciting event comes as a result of a Memorandum of Understanding signed by the key organisations, officially designating Abu Dhabi as the host city for this edition of the cup.
The tournament will commence on November 6 with the semi-finals. Zamalek will go head-to-head against Pyramids at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi, while Al Ahly will compete with Ceramica Cleopatra at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain.
The highly anticipated final match is scheduled for November 9 at the renowned Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, where the champion of the 2025 Egyptian Super Cup will be crowned in a major sporting celebration. Earlier the same day, a third-place playoff will be held at Al Nahyan Stadium.
The hosting of the Egyptian Super Cup in Abu Dhabi strengthens sporting links between the UAE and Egypt, and underscores Abu Dhabi’s status as a leading destination for international sports events.
