German Skyliners Triumph at FIBA 3×3 World Tour Abu Dhabi 2025
The German team Skyliners emerged as champions of the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Abu Dhabi 2025 after a thrilling 19-17 victory over the American team Miami in the final.
The tournament, organised by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council in collaboration with the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), took place from 25th to 26th October in a purpose-built venue near the south entrance of Marina Mall. A total of fourteen teams from around the world competed for top honors.
The winning Skyliners collected a US $40,000 prize, received in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Qubaisi (Assistant Secretary-General, Abu Dhabi Sports Council), Saeed Al Mehairi (Executive Director – Sports Development), alongside prominent sports leaders and a crowd of enthusiastic fans.
Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Qubaisi congratulated the Skyliners on their victory, highlighting their excellent performance and the strong competition in the final, amplified by the enthusiastic support from those in attendance.
In the individual contests, Hsin-Wei Wang of Taipei WanBao secured the Shoot-Out competition (sponsored by Al Ain Water), while Piotr “Grabo” Grabowski took top honors in the Dunk Contest (sponsored by Al Masaood Automobiles).
Leon Fertig of the Skyliners was named Tournament MVP, thanks to a decisive performance that led his team to ultimate victory. The MVP award was presented by Sheikh Hamad bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Director of International Events at the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.

The penultimate stop of this season’s World Tour will take place in Bucharest on 8th–9th November, with the season finale scheduled for Manama on 21st–22nd November 2025.
