The 2025 Egyptian Super Cup, hosted in Abu Dhabi and organised by the UAE Pro League, has marked a new milestone in global sports entertainment, achieving an impressive over one billion views across television broadcasts, media outlets, and social media platforms worldwide.
This year’s tournament captivated football fans not only throughout the Arab world but also internationally, propelled by outstanding organisation and an electric atmosphere in the stadiums. Matches were played at the Mohammed Bin Zayed, Al Nahyan, and Hazza Bin Zayed stadiums, all of which provided a spectacle both on and off the pitch.
The competition brought together four premier clubs: Al Ahly, Zamalek, Pyramids, and Ceramica Cleopatra. This year marks the ninth occasion the UAE has had the honour of hosting the Egyptian Super Cup, further cementing its reputation as a major hub for international sporting events.
