The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has announced the much-anticipated third installment of the PFL: Road to Dubai series, headlining with a blockbuster matchup between PFL Lightweight World Champion Usman Nurmagomedov (20-0-0, 1 NC) and the newly crowned 2025 PFL Lightweight World Tournament Champion Alfie “The Axe Man” Davis (20-5-1). The event is slated for Saturday, 7 February 2026, at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, promising fight fans an exceptional evening of MMA action.
This premier card represents another milestone in the ongoing collaboration between the Dubai Sports Council, the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), and PFL, reinforcing Dubai’s reputation as a hub for world-class sporting events and a center for MMA excellence.

Undefeated Usman Nurmagomedov returns to Dubai as the main event for a third time, coming off significant victories, most notably a pair of dramatic wins over Ireland’s Paul Hughes. Renowned for his tactical blend of striking and wrestling, and under the leadership of his cousin, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Usman looks to cement his legacy with an emphatic title defense.
Across the cage, Alfie Davis enters as a formidable underdog. The English karate specialist soared to prominence in 2025 by capturing the PFL Lightweight World Tournament title, dispatching the favorites throughout the bracket, culminating with a victory over Usman’s teammate Gadzhi Rabadanov. Known for his unpredictable and explosive attacks—highlighted by spinning elbow knockouts and the spectacular axe kick that earned him his moniker—Davis has proven he can rise above expectations on the biggest stage.
“PFL: Road to Dubai is set to be a spectacular event, and we can’t wait for what’s to come at Coca-Cola Arena on 7 February,” said PFL CEO John Martin. “Usman Nurmagomedov is an undefeated and dominant superstar who will mark his third appearance as the headliner in Dubai, but this time a fresh challenge awaits him in the opposite corner. Alfie Davis continually defies the odds, and will look to do it once more on the biggest stage. Get your tickets now, we will make this the biggest card in Dubai to date.”
Eisa Sharif, Director of Events Department at Dubai Sports Council, highlighted the significance of hosting such elite competitions, stating: “Backed by the Dubai Sports Council (DSC), this event ticks all the boxes as one of the elite competitions to be staged in Dubai. It is of great significance that we get to stage such high-profile athletes in Dubai. Not only does it get Dubai the attention of being among the top sports destinations, but also gives us the belief that we can aspire for much greater heights. Events like these help us maintain a connection with the people and the communities we live in. At the same time, they assist us in furthering the cause of sport and the crucial role sports plays in our lives.”
With additional bouts set to be revealed soon, and the world’s gaze turning to Dubai, PFL: Road to Dubai is primed to deliver unmatched excitement and continue solidifying the emirate’s stature in the global sporting landscape.
