In a strategic reinforcement of its roster, Team Bahrain Victorious has announced the signing of Alec Segaert, a promising 22-year-old Belgian rider known for his strength in time trials and one-day races. The addition of Segaert is set to bolster the team’s Classics squad and strengthen its lineup in stage races, where he will play a key role in supporting General Classification (GC) contenders.
Segaert has emerged as one of the most exciting young talents in professional cycling. His 2024 season was highlighted by a commanding win in the Individual Time Trial (ITT) at the Renewi Tour, alongside an impressive 2nd place in the General Classification. Possessing a well-rounded skill set, Segaert has displayed the capability to perform on varied terrain, making him an ideal fit for the team’s evolving competitive ambitions.
