NBA Legends Headline NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2025 and District Activities in October

Abu Dhabi, 23rd September, 2025 – The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) and the National Basketball Association (NBA) have unveiled the lineup of NBA legends set to attend The NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2025 presented by ADQ, as well as headline the “NBA District” fan activities running from 2nd to 5th October at Manarat Al Saadiyat. Taking place alongside the eagerly awaited NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2025, the interactive “NBA District” will celebrate basketball culture with exclusive opportunities for fans to engage with some of the sport’s all-time greats. The Games themselves are set to feature high-profile preseason matchups as the New York Knicks face off against the Philadelphia 76ers on 2nd and 4th October at Etihad Arena on Yas Island. Oscar Robertson, Derrick Rose, Mark Jackson, John Starks, Rudy Gay, and Michael Carter-Williams will headline a host of activities as part of the official lineup, promising memorable experiences for basketball enthusiasts in Abu Dhabi.
