The competition, which will be hosted for the first time in Bahrain, provides a unique platform to showcase the Kingdom’s athletic and organizational capabilities on an international stage.
The team’s squad features a blend of rising talent, with Hasan Aqeel Thamer, Hussain Ali Hasan, Thamer Aqeel Thamer, Isa Saleh Ahmed, Aseel Kamal Ahmed, Jood Kumail Ahmed, Dana Mohammed Al Doseri, and Zainab Karam set to represent the red-and-white colors. Each athlete has undergone a rigorous and comprehensive training program, which has included daily sessions, strategy workshops, and participation in local and regional competitions aimed at enhancing their technical skills and physical fitness.
For the riders, the Games represent more than just a competition; they are a significant step toward building international experience and testing themselves against some of Asia’s most promising young cyclists. The national team’s involvement in the event is also seen as a part of Bahrain’s broader investment in youth sports development and the promotion of competitive cycling across the region.
