Abu Dhabi, 7th December, 2025 – Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the 33rd UAE President Cup for Arabian Purebred Horses concluded with a grand finale in the capital. Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, attended the prestigious event to award the winner of the highly anticipated 7th race — the HH The President Cup for Arabian Purebred Horses (Group 1), noted as the richest race of the evening with a prize purse of AED8 million.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan emphasized the significance of the Cup, noting that it “embodies the leadership’s commitment to preserving the nation’s equestrian heritage.” He also highlighted the event’s role in strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as a global hub for Arabian horse racing and praised its success in attracting elite participants from around the world. Further, Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan commended the competition for its contribution to supporting the equestrian sector and for promoting the sustainability of authentic heritage for future generations.
The evening was attended by other prominent figures including Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society; Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation; and Sheikh Khalifa bin Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wajib Volunteer Association.
