The 2025 EuroLeague Final Four in Abu Dhabi is officially locked in, featuring the top teams: Olympiacos, Fenerbahce, Panathinaikos, and Monaco, each securing their spots with hard-fought playoff victories.
Two dramatic Game 5 showdowns finalized the lineup, setting the stage for the season’s biggest showdown in late May.
Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul made quick work of Paris Basketball, sweeping the EuroLeague debutants in a 3-0 series to punch their ticket to the Final Four. Meanwhile, top-seeded Olympiacos Piraeus overcame Real Madrid with a 3-1 series win.
AS Monaco and Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens earned their spots the hard way, each coming out on top in decisive fifth games. Monaco narrowly edged past Barcelona, while Panathinaikos knocked out 2021 and 2022 champions Anadolu Efes.
Monaco makes its first return to the Final Four since the 2022–23 season. Meanwhile, Olympiacos, Fenerbahce, and Panathinaikos are all back for another consecutive appearance among Europe’s elite.
The semifinals will rekindle a familiar rivalry as Olympiacos takes on Monaco in a repeat of their 2023 showdown. In that game, Olympiacos delivered a legendary 27–2 third-quarter performance, one of the most dominant stretches in Final Four history.
The other semifinal features a high-stakes rematch as Fenerbahce battles Panathinaikos. The two sides clashed in last season’s playoffs, where Panathinaikos secured a convincing 73–57 victory.
With Olympiacos and Panathinaikos on opposite sides of the bracket, there’s strong potential for a high-profile Greek derby final.
The 2025 edition marks a historic milestone, being the first-ever Final Four held outside Europe, hosted in Abu Dhabi.
The action tips off on Friday, May 23. Semifinal B between Fenerbahce and Panathinaikos begins at 19:00 local time (17:00 CEST), followed by Semifinal A—Olympiacos vs. Monaco—at 22:00 local time (20:00 CEST).
The tournament concludes on Sunday, May 25, with the third-place game and the championship final. The title game is scheduled to tip off at 21:00 local time (19:00 CEST).
