UFC Returns to Abu Dhabi with Stellar Fight Card on July 26
The UFC is set to bring another action-packed event to Abu Dhabi‘s Etihad Arena on July 26, promising an electric night of mixed martial arts for fans across the globe. UFC CEO Dana White unveiled the first six matchups, headlined by a blockbuster middleweight main event and a highly anticipated UFC debut.
In the main event, former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker will face off against the surging talent Reinier de Ridder, setting up an elite contest that could shake up the division’s landscape. The co-main event sees the arrival of Aaron Pico to the UFC, as he challenges the undefeated Movsar Evloev in a five-round featherweight clash.
The Abu Dhabi UFC Fight Night will also feature a compelling bantamweight bout between former champion Petr Yan and the rising contender Marcus McGhee. In another exciting bantamweight matchup, fan favorite Bryce Mitchell squares off against submission specialist Said Nurmagomedov.
Rounding out the announced slate, Shara Magomedov will take on Marc-Andre Barriault in the middleweight division, while a hard-hitting light heavyweight contest sees Nikita Krylov matched up with Bogdan Guskov.
