Saudi Arabian Football Federation Announces 2025 Saudi Super Cup in Hong Kong
The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) has officially announced that the 2025 Saudi Super Cup will be held at the prestigious Hong Kong Stadium from 19 to 23 August 2025. This groundbreaking event comes as a result of a significant partnership between SAFF and the Football Association of Hong Kong, China (HKFA).
The tournament is set to feature some of the most prominent clubs in Saudi football: Al-Ittihad Club Company, Al Hilal Saudi Club, ALNASSR Club Company, and Al-Qadsiah Saudi Club. The decision to host the Saudi Super Cup in Hong Kong marks a major milestone in the internationalization of Saudi football, providing fans in Hong Kong a unique opportunity to witness some of the biggest stars in Saudi and international football.
This initiative is conducted under the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between SAFF and HKFA in November 2024, representing a new era of sporting excellence and international cooperation between the two associations.
During today’s press conference, SAFF President Yasser Almisehal expressed his gratitude, stating, “Thanks to Mr. Eric Fok, Chairman of HKFA, and all stakeholders and commercial partners for their support. We look forward to a spectacular competition in August that brings our communities closer.”
The 2025 Saudi Super Cup in Hong Kong is expected to foster greater understanding and strengthen ties between the Saudi and Hong Kong football communities, while delivering thrilling football action at an international level.
