The AJP Tour Fujairah International Jiu-Jitsu Championship concluded after three days of world-class competition, attracting more than 1,000 athletes across youth, amateur, and professional divisions. Participants represented clubs from around the world, reflecting the global reach and growing popularity of jiu-jitsu.
At the conclusion of the event, Commando Group claimed top honors with 58,025 points, while M.O.D Academy secured second place with 26,250 points. Al Jazira Jiu-Jitsu Club rounded out the top three, finishing with 16,950 points.
Throughout the championship, 695 medals were awarded—258 gold, 249 silver, and 188 bronze—showcasing the athletes’ determination and underscoring the rising standards of the sport both regionally and internationally.
The event further highlighted the UAE’s commitment to the advancement of jiu-jitsu by offering athletes a high-level competitive environment to hone their skills, accumulate valuable ranking points, and prepare for future achievements on the world stage. The closing ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, President of the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, as well as senior sports officials and representatives from the participating clubs.

It provides an ideal platform to discover and develop new talent, reinforcing the UAE’s commitment to investing in sports and supporting the growth of jiu-jitsu both locally and internationally.”
The championship concluded in a festive atmosphere, further enhancing Fujairah’s reputation as a destination for world-class sporting events and cementing the UAE as a global leader in the jiu-jitsu community.
