BUFTEA, Romania, 20th September, 2025 – The UAE has reached another remarkable milestone in equestrian sport as rider Rashid Mohammed Al Muhairi captivated audiences by clinching the title at the FEI Endurance World Championship for Young Riders and Juniors. The event, held in Buftea, Romania, featured a challenging distance of 120 kilometers and was conducted under the strict supervision of the International Equestrian Federation, attracting participants from 28 countries. Al Muhairi triumphed in the individual category for the very first time, completing the extensive race in 5:33:01 hours. This significant victory not only signaled a personal achievement but also secured the UAE’s fifth consecutive title in this championship, bringing its total to eight overall in the event’s storied history. The competition was fierce, with Bahrain’s Saud Mubarak taking second place with a time of 5:34:25 hours, while compatriot Isa Al Anzi finished third, clocking in at 5:36:31 hours.
