Third Round of Qatar Equestrian Tour Longines-Hathab 2025-26 Begins The much-anticipated third round of the 9th edition of the domestic equestrian series Qatar Equestrian Tour – Longines Hathab has officially commenced at the Qatar Equestrian Federation’s indoor arena on Thursday. Organized by the Qatar Equestrian Federation in collaboration with Al Shaqab, a member of Qatar Foundation, this prestigious tournament will continue through May 2026, comprising a total of 14 competitive rounds. The three-day third round got underway with the Amateur Tour (100cm), followed by the Bronze Tour for Individuals and Teams (120cm). In the Amateur Tour, rider Ali Omar Al Ansari delivered a standout performance to secure first place, clocking 43.27 seconds aboard Nikita. Close on his heels was Maryam Mohammed Al Sada, finishing in 45.97 seconds with Medina, while Abdulaziz Abdullah Al Abri claimed third place, registering 49.77 seconds riding Any Way. The winners were crowned by Abdullah Al Marri, the Tournament Director. The Bronze Tour (Individual category) displayed an extraordinary feat by Amer Hamad Al Mansouri, who clinched both first and second positions. He posted 30.9 seconds with Honolulu and 31.14 seconds atop Flexi. In third, Khaled Al Hadi rode Capion to a finish of 31.36 seconds. In the team event, The Dome triumphed with a combined time of 64.15 seconds. Following were Marwan Al Shaqab and Ghazal Al Shaqab, finishing in 72.33 seconds and 69.26 seconds, respectively. Hassan Al Nasr, the Integrated Track Team Manager, awarded the winning teams. The Qatar Equestrian Tour has consistently stood out as one of the country’s most prestigious domestic championships. It is designed to promote the development of equestrianism in Qatar, offering a high-level competitive environment for athletes to enhance their skills and foster collaboration among local equestrian institutions.
