Abu Dhabi, UAE – In a significant move aimed at revitalizing the sport of fencing in the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, issued a resolution on January 31, 2025, to restructure the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Fencing Club.

The new board will be chaired by Colonel Mohammed Hussein Al Khouri, a highly respected figure in the UAE sports community. Alongside him, four additional members have been appointed to the board, each bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. This new leadership team is set to serve a three-year term, marking a fresh start for the club.
