Over 400 Athletes Compete in Oceanic Khorfakkan Triathlon
KHORFAKKAN, 20 April – More than 400 athletes participated in the latest edition of the Oceanic Khorfakkan Triathlon, showcasing impressive sportsmanship and community spirit. The event was organized through a collaboration between the Sharjah Sports Council, the Oceanic Khorfakkan Resort & Spa, and Al Qudra Sports Services.
Competitors faced the challenge of swimming, running, and cycling across a variety of categories. These categories included Olympic, Super Sprint, Sprint, and Junior levels for both individuals and teams, allowing for wide participation and fierce competition.
This edition marks the second event held this year as part of Sharjah’s ongoing community sports initiatives, emphasizing the emirate’s commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and encouraging community engagement in physical activities.
