Dubai, 2nd March, 2026 – The UAE Tennis and Padel Federation has launched the local ranking tournament, “Ellington 2026,” inaugurating the 2026 season of the UAE Padel Tour. This event kicks off as part of the latest edition of the Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament, one of the region’s most prominent multi-sport events.
Taking place at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex, the tournament is organized in collaboration with the Ellington Sports Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting emerging talent, enhancing competition standards, and fostering sustainable development pathways for young players. The foundation’s efforts are aimed at establishing a robust and lasting sporting culture within the UAE.
The “Ellington 2026” tournament is a key highlight among 35 scheduled events on the 2026 UAE Padel Tour calendar, which has been crafted to broaden the sport’s reach and reinforce its community and competitive presence nationwide.
Competition spans three main categories: the 20-point category, as well as dedicated men’s and women’s divisions. Each division features 16 teams, promising a high level of engagement and skill.
Semi-finals across all three categories are set for tomorrow, with the much-anticipated finals to follow on Tuesday.
